How does Natto-K work?

Fibrin forms in the blood after injury to prevent excess blood loss. Fibrin is also part of an anti-inflammatory reaction caused by bacteria, fungi or viruses. These are good things, but excess fibrin isn’t good as fibrin can slow blood flow, increase blood pressure and even increase your risk of heart attack or stroke. Can I take Natto-K if I’m on blood thinners?

Nattokinase can be taken with anticoagulants (blood thinners) under close supervision of your physician. Your physician will want to closely monitor your fibrin levels as your need for medication may decrease with Nattokinase use.

What else should I consider?

We find that Natto-K works best when combined with Enzymedica Lypo Gold, CoQ10 (found in many multi-vitamins) and the very highly absorbable EuroPharma Vectomega omega-3 fatty acids.
